Elfin Forest Harmony Grove Fire Safe Council

October 2022 – Website Development – $5,000

Grant Description

Develop a dedicated website for the Elfin Forest Harmony Grove Fire Safe Council that includes email to foster communications to all of Elfin Forest and Harmony Grove. A Facebook Page will also link to the website.

Fees include actual development of the website, hosting costs, email forwarding and other fees.

The Fire Safe Council is working to get this up and running ASAP due to the continued drought, lengthening fire season and anticipated increased wildfire possibilities.

Community Benefit

The mission of the EFHG FSC is to mobilize the EFHG community to enhance fire prevention, safety and preparedness for all residents through ongoing outreach, education and collaborative interventions, projects and activities.

The EFHG FSC seeks to preserve and prepare our rural community using community risk reduction strategies to mitigate and reduce risk of wildfire while ensuring that efficient and effective wildfire evacuation plans are put in place to maximally preserve and protect life, livestock and our natural resources.
